The Length of the body is measured from the sternum ( Breast bone) to the sciatic tuber
9-10 shall not exceed the dogs height by more then 15%
Males 29 – 30 inches or 73 -76 cm. Bitches 27 – 28 inches or 69 –71 cm.
B – Height at shoulders
Males 24 – 27 inches or 61 – 68cm Bitches 22 – 25 inches or 56 – 63cm
Examples ( 9-10 ) B = 27 then A = 30inches, B = 25 then A = 27.8 inches, B = 22 then A = 24.5 inches
C – Depth of rib cage
Depth of the rib cage shell be neither larger or smaller than 50% of the dogs height
Example B = 22inches then C = 11inches, B = 27 inches then C = 13.5inches
D – Chest Width
Is usually Measured between the two most outstanding points of the ribs what go from the plate bones
Males – 12 inches or 30cm, Females – 10.5-11.5 inches or 27-29cm
E - Rib Width
Is measured between the most outstanding point of the false rib
(false rib are the ones which are not joined to the chest bone)
Males and Bitches both 8 inches or 20-21cm
F- Rib width
Rib cage girth shell be approximately equal to the dogs height plus 8inches or 25 cm, males may have this size larger.
Example B = 24 then F = 32inches, B = 27 then F = 35inches, B = 22 then F = 30inches
